I wonder if these modern politicians and educators ever read Thomas Dooley's books about the communist take over of North Vietnam or about the treatment of Bishop Walsh or the millions killed in the name of Mao's "Little Red Book"? It frightens me that the context of the speech given by that lady seems to have been in a church setting. When I was young I was in the Far East and South East Asia as a Navy medic. Communism was real close and I saw some of the proverty and agony of those people first hand.
